During the lockdown, I had the idea of creating a podcast series in French to tell the story of great speeches. Everyone has heard of Émile Zola’s “J’accuse…!”, Charles de Gaulle’s “Appel du 18 juin 1940” or Martin Luther King’s “I have a Dream” speech. But what do they really contain? Why have they gone down in history? And to what end? I try to answer these questions through a series of 20 podcasts, each lasting around 12 minutes.
